We have concluded our very first Youth Art Contest, and had wonderful entries! All of the entries, as well as the award winners are available to view online now! The Winning pieces will be on display in our gallery until Saturday, December 11th. Stop in and see them!
In case you've driven by and seen the Lemonade stand in front of our shop, it's for a non-profit organization we started called "Taking Our Youth Seriously". It's a completely stocked fresh squeezed (literally) lemonade stand we built in order to help youth organizations raise the funds they need to help them do what they need to do. Local businesses and individuals have donated money and materials to help us build and stock the stand. Any established youth organization can reserve the stand for a particular date, and come operate the stand (making and selling the lemonade), and ALL proceeds go to their organization! It's a great way for the kids to raise the needed funds to help them continue. So, if you'd like to contribute to "T.O.Y.S." to help restock the supplies, or if you have a youth organization that needs fundraising, stop by the T.O.Y.S. website to donate or book your date!
